Physio or acupuncture?

Two complementary approaches. Compare them in one click, or let us point you in the right direction.

What for?

Muscle and joint pain, rehabilitation after an injury or surgery, getting back to sport.

How?

An assessment, manual therapy and above all active, progressive exercise to rebuild strength and mobility.

How often?

Usually a series of sessions, one to three times a week depending on your treatment plan.

Reimbursed?

Yes: with a doctor’s prescription, your health insurance fund (mutuelle) reimburses a large part.

What for?

Alongside other care: muscle and chronic pain, tension, stress and poor sleep.

How?

Fine, sterile, single-use needles placed on precise points. The sensation is light.

How often?

A few sessions, often closer together at first and then further apart.

Reimbursed?

Not by INAMI/RIZIV. Some health insurance funds partly cover it through their supplementary insurance.

FAQ

Got a question?

Do I need a prescription to see a physiotherapist?

To have your physiotherapy sessions reimbursed, you need a prescription from your doctor. Don’t have one yet? Contact us and we will explain how it works. We work together with your doctor and can send them a report.

How long does a session last?

A physiotherapy session usually lasts about 30 minutes. The first session always starts with a thorough assessment.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on your complaint and your goals. After the assessment we propose a clear plan, which we adjust as you progress.

Are you contracted with INAMI/RIZIV?

Yes. Ali and Salah are contracted physiotherapists: they charge the official INAMI/RIZIV rates, which keeps your personal share low after reimbursement by your health insurance fund.

Can I combine physiotherapy and acupuncture?

Yes. Acupuncture can complement physiotherapy, for example for lasting pain or stress-related tension.

What should I bring?

Your ID card (eID), comfortable clothing and, for physiotherapy, your doctor’s prescription and any scans you have (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound).

How do I book an appointment?

Online only, through our Crossuite calendar: choose your treatment and a time slot. You can also call Ali (+32 471 90 39 30) or Salah (+32 487 55 10 53).

Where is the practice?
